With the rise in attention to a variety of cryptocurrencies, there is one particular quote on quote battle going on that will be of particular interest. That battle is between Ethereum (ETH) and Cardano (ADA). Now, if you are someone who has not being paying close attention and watched the crypto market, you might not know that Cardano uses a 3rd generation blockchain technology which makes it stronger to the Ethereum’s 2nd generation. This new generation allows for better scalability, cooperation and stability with other cryptocurrencies. Not only this but behind Cardano there is a massive team of developers who are there to support it. With this team and the new technologies supporting Cardano; that have not been behind any other cryptocurrencies mind you, I personally believe it will be able to compete with Ethereum.
The real problems that Cardano will face while trying to takedown Ethereum is just the sheer amount of support the Ethereum market has. Ethereum is only behind Bitcoin in terms of activity on the trading market. Something that is only unique to the cryptocurrency market is the more the crypto is traded, the strong it is. This is really what makes Ethereum so secure, the fact that there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of transactions with Ethereum everyday makes it difficult for a new crypto to enter the market. Humans are stubborn and we don’t like change unless we are show why it is positive. However, there is something else that is unique to Cardano.
With the Covid-19 Pandemic it is impossible to ignore that there are a lot more people staying home with free time. This has led to the creation of an extremely active online community who rabidly support Cardano. This allows others to be able to quickly learn how not only Cardano works, but the crypto markets in general. This only swells more users to trade, and the market becomes more stable and accepted.
All these factors could play into the inevitable overtaking of Ethereum by Cardano…or I could be completely wrong about all these and Ethereum stays strong forever. That’s the beauty of the cryptocurrency world. Nobody knows for sure what’s going to happen, but we can observe all this information and hopefully come out on the winning side.
